At The Fleece, we love an excuse for a party. Our two function suites can accommodate up to 250 people for a grand affair or for more intimate dining we have a full range of packages. We can provide everything you need to make your event special with a little extra touch, include our outdoor bespoke bar and festoon lighting for your private terrace.

Our Netherwood Suite is an additional upstairs private dining area to accommodate 15-35 people, also with its own bar, which leads onto an upper terrace with abundant charm and character of the original countryside, making the most of our idyllic location.

Our experienced team have helped arrange a variety of truly memorable functions, If you’re planning an event we can help with everything from bespoke afternoon tea packages ideal for charity events, baby showers, bridal showers, christenings  and funeral teas, to special birthday and anniversary parties for those very important dates, and just about any other type of event you can dream up.

Our events team is experienced in all aspects of event-planning and takes great pride in ensuring your event fulfils your expectations. Whether you’re planning your dream wedding or a private party, we will provide you with the best advice about every detail from canapés, drinks and personalised menus to entertainment, to make your next event a Fleece event.

Of course, we know that a great celebration is about much more than just the views. From three course banqueting menus to finger buffets, we will make sure the food lives up to the occasion.

Whether you are looking for a meeting room or a conference space, The Fleece is the ideal for executive meetings, corporate entertaining, product launches and private celebrations. The venue offers a large central space, with optional break-out rooms and a smaller conference area, and is a popular location thanks to its proximity to the M62 as well as Manchester and Leeds-Bradford Airports.

We will provide you with a dedicated Event Manager to offer support and advice where required, ensuring the whole experience goes exactly the way you planned.  

However complex your event, we like to keep the pricing simple. You can pay for meetings by the full day or half day with our delegate packages.

Each space offers ultra fast internet, smart technology and doors onto an outdoor terrace.
