Weddings

  • What time should we have our ceremony?

    We recommend a ceremony starting between 1pm and 2pm if held at The Fleece Inn.

    If an off site ceremony we recommend you aim to arrive at The Fleece Inn between 1pm – 2pm

  • When do I pay for our accommodation?

    We request final payment is required on check in.

  • What are the accommodation check in and check out times?

    The Fleece bedrooms are available;

    • 2pm for check in on day of arrival
    • 11am for check out on day of departure

     

  • What accommodation do you have on site?

    The Fleece has;

    • 1 – Bridal Suite
    • 4 –  king Size rooms
    • 2 – family rooms: Which includes 1 king size bed, plus 2 single beds on the mezzanine, Suitable for children over 10 years.

    Please note We do not provide cots and air beds

     

  • Can we use real candles?

    Yes, you can use real candles on the tables.

  • How many car parking spaces are there?

    We have;

    • 55 car parking spaces
    • 3 disabled bays
    • Additional 10 spaces plus roadside parking
  • How many guests can sit comfortably around a 6ft round table?

    6 to 10 guests can be seated around a 6ft round table.

  • What happens the day after your wedding day?

    We ask that everything is cleared by 11am

  • Is there wheelchair access?

    Yes, there is wheelchair access to the ground floor areas.

  • What time can we party until?

    We kindly request all events to finish by midnight.

  • What is the size of the Ryburn Suite?

    The Ryburn Suite is;

    17m length x 7m width x 2.5m height

    The Terrace is;

    17m length x 7m width x 2.5m height

  • Is there any accommodation in the area?

    Yes, there are a selection of local B&Bs and hotels.

     

     

  • Where can I have my photos taken?

    We’re surrounded by beautiful scenery that’s perfect for wedding photos. Speech to your photographers and ask them to come and have a look around.

  • Are we allowed confetti?

    We allow only natural, biodegradable confetti (dried rose petals, etc…) within the grounds.

  • Are fireworks or Chinese lanterns allowed?

    Unfortunately not. The venue is next to a working farm and these would endanger our livestock.

  • Are we able to make special drink requests?

    Yes, we’re happy to work with you and we’ll try our best to accommodate any requests.

  • Are we able to supply our own alcohol?

    Yes, we charge £10.00 per botte for corkage.

  • We would like a church ceremony, is there a church nearby?

    There are three chruches close by;

    • St Bartholomew’s
    • Christ Church Barkisland
    • Stones Methodist Church

     

  • Is The Fleece Inn licensed for civil ceremonies?

    Yes it is, you can hold a civil ceremony in our Ryburn Suite.

  • What is the guest capacity?

    The venue can comfortably seat up to 120 guests for dinner, with capacity for 250 in total for the evening.
